How to Set Up Autopay?

Autopay ensures your rent is paid automatically every month: no need to worry about late fees or missed payments.

1. Go to the Rent Payments section

Log in to your Rentberry.com profile and click on "Rent Payments" in the top-right corner of the page. Under Active Payments, find the property you'd like to pay for and click the "Pay Rent" button next to it.

2. Enter the Rent Amount

  • Go to the payment section.

  • Enter your monthly rent amount.

  • Toggle the switch labeled "Turn On Autopay".

3. Add Payment Method

  • Click Next to proceed to the Payment Info step.

  • Select your preferred payment method (Card, ACH Transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay).

4. Confirm the Payment

  • Review your payment summary.

  • Click Pay to complete the transaction.

5. Payment Confirmation

  • Once the payment is successful, you will see a "Payment Sent" message.

  • Autopay is now activated β€” your next monthly payment will be processed automatically, on the same day that it was settled.

Autopay Status

You can verify Autopay status anytime by visiting the Active Payments section.

  • Look for a yellow banner labeled "Autopay Is On".

  • You can turn it off anytime by clicking "Turn It Off".

Notes:

  • Autopay settings can't be edited. If you need to make changes (e.g., update card info or amount), first disable Autopay, then set it up again from scratch.

  • The landlord sets the payment date. You'll receive a notification (email and SMS) if the date or your rent amount changes.
